3.1 Your Guide to Safety

Let’s keep kink and abuse separate.

As you already know from one of the first lessons, BDSM follows a certain cycle to ensure that everyone feels safe and empowered. And because practicing BDSM comes with inherent risks (especially when kinksters lack knowledge), that cycle is based on the idea of R.A.C.K - Risk Aware Consensual Kink.

In this lesson, we want to equip you with tools that will help you guard your own safety - through Safe, Sane, and Consensual practices based on your limits (you already started to discover them in the last chapter).

Your limits will evolve with time - and that’s okay! What should be a constant in your relationship with kink, however, are safewords. You can find out more about their structure and implementation below.
